We live in a society that constantly encourages us to behave, feel, and function in particular ways. There is a dominant idea of who we should be, how productive or successful we must be, and where we do or do not belong. Is stepping outside this norm not already a form of resistance? And what does such personal, vulnerable resistance look like?

My work explores how personal vulnerability and resistance intersect and take shape in visual form.
